Course of Instruction
Night duty should be done in clinical areas in rotation basis.
Examination :
The U. P. State Medical Faculty is conducted examination at the end of each year, for 75 marks. The students, to pass, have to score 38 marks out of 75 marks.
Internal Assessments :
The internal assessment of the students is based on the academic performance throughout the year. The internal assessment in theory paper is made out of 25. The students should score 13 out of 25 marks to get pass mark. Then only the students will become eligible for appearing for the final examination.

Note :-
* Practical examination for Mental Health Nursing will be conducted by the college only not by U. P. State Medical Faculty. The marks should be sent to the U. P. State Medical Faculty.

- Student has completed not less than eleven months of the course
- A student must have minimum of 80% attendance (irrespective of the kind of absence)in theory and practical in each subject for appearing for examination. The diploma shall not be awarded to the student till she / he has completed the clinical / field requirements.
- A candidate must secure 50% marks in internal assessment separately in each theory and practical.
- The record of practical experience is complete.
- There shall be one regular examination followed by supplementary examination in a year.
- If a candidate fails he/she can be promoted to next higher class.
- A candidate can take any number of attempts with a condition that maximum period allowed is 6years to complete the course. However all previous papers need to be cleared before appearing in the final examination
- Distinction — 80% and above
- First Division – – 70% to 79%
- Second Division — 60% to 69%
- Pass — 50% to 59%
- 10+2 class passed preferably in science physics, chemistry and biology (PCB) & English with aggregate of 40% marks.
- 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English core / English Elective or Health care Science – Vocational stream Only, passing out from recognized Board under AISSCE / CBSE / SSCE / HSCE or other equivalent board with 40% marks.
- 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board from the school and recognized Indian Nursing Council with 40 marks.
- Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
- Student shall be medically fit.
- Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination or Health care Science – Vocational stream ONLY conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks.
